The Chinese side has also set up 10 fruit gathering areas and 4 food gathering areas at border gates on the Chinese side to support the gathering of agricultural products that are in the peak harvest period of Vietnam. .

During a visit to the Vietnam-China border gate in March, the Chinese Minister of Commerce also asked the Chinese border local government to create maximum convenience for goods clearance at the request of the Chinese side. Vietnam.

Responding to the request for exemption from testing and testing for SARS-CoV-2 virus for frozen agricultural and aquatic products, the Chinese Minister of Commerce affirmed that this measure is applicable to all countries, only for disease prevention and control purposes and will be adjusted according to the specific COVID-19 epidemic control situation in each country.

At the meeting, the two ministers agreed to urgently develop a program implementation plan and cooperation plan when the epidemic is controlled and travel restrictions are eased.
