According to preliminary data reported by the General Department of Vietnam Customs, pepper exports in February 2020 reached 25,609 tons of all kinds of pepper, an increase of 10,933 tons, or an increase of 74.5% over the previous month and up 9,266 tons. , ie an increase of 56.22% over the same period last year.

The value of pepper export turnover in the month reached 57.03 million USD, increased by 21.18 million USD, ie increased by 59.07% over the previous month and 13.61 million USD, or 31.33% higher than that of the previous month. in the same period last year.

The cumulative export volume of pepper in the first 2 months of 2020 totaled 40,243 tons of pepper of all kinds, an increase of 4,573 tons, or an increase of 12.82% compared to the export volume of the first 2 months of 2019.

However, the export turnover in the first 2 months of 2020 totaled 92.74 million USD, down by 7.38 million USD, or 7.38% over the same period.

Average export price in February 2020 reached 2,227 USD / ton, down 8.84% from the average export price of January 2020.
