Vietnam black pepper price today (16/06/2018) decreased 1,000-2,000 VND / kg across the nation. At this time pepper prices are traded by businesses and agents around 55,000 to 57,000 VND / kg.

Currently, in Chu Se District (Gia Lai), pepper prices have fallen by VND1,000 / kg to VND55,000 / kg.

In Dak Lak province, Dak Nong pepper prices dropped by VND1,000 / kg at VND56,000 / kg.

Meanwhile, Binh Phuoc pepper prices dropped by VND2,000 / kg to VND56,000 / kg.

In Chau Duc (Ba Ria-Vung Tau province), the price of pepper dropped by 2,000 VND / kg to 57,000 VND / kg, this is still the region with the highest pepper price in the region.

Similarly, Dong Nai pepper price dropped by VND 2,000 / kg to VND 56,000 / kg.

Domestic Indian black pepper traded in Kerala fell by Rs 200 to Rs 32,800 ($ 4,846 / t) for unprocessed pepper and Rs 34,000 ($ 5,023 / tonne). per tonne for processed ones; but the supply was rather limited, while high quality pepper dropped 500 rupees to 37,500 rupees ($ 5,540 / tonne).

Vietnam export 500 Gr / L – FAQ at $ 2,700 / ton and 550 gr / l – FAQ at $ 3,000 / ton, (FOB – HCM), prices are relatively stable.

Last week’s IPC trade report showed that the market was generally quiet. Pepper prices in most countries fell slightly, but  the black pepper price in India and Sri Lanka fell sharply. Malaysia and Sri Lanka were harvesting new crops and Indonesia was following the next round.

Coffee prices also declined

Coffee prices continue to decline.

The price today in 14/6 in the key locations throughout the country recorded a reduction of 100 VND / kg. The price of coffee in Tay Nguyen ranges from 34,500 to 35,400 VND / kg, with the common price is 34,500 – 35,300 VND / kg.

Specifically, in Bao Loc district (Lam Dong) coffee price today reducing by 100 VND / kg is sold at 34,500 VND / kg. Coffee price in Di Linh, Lam Ha is from 34,400 – 34,500 VND / kg. Lam Dong has the lowest coffee prices.

Coffee prices in Cu M’gar district (Dak Lak), Ea H’leo (Dak Lak) after a slight decrease today are ranging from 35,200 to 35,300 VND / kg. Coffee price in Buon Ho district is at 35,200 VND / kg.

Also in Gia Lai coffee prices today after falling 100 VND / kg is currently sold at 35,500 VND / kg. The price of Gia Lai coffee is the highest in the country.

In Kon Tum, coffee price today is 35,200 VND / kg.

While Dak Nong province’s coffee price today is 35,300 VND / kg.

Vietnam’s coffee harvest usually starts from late October to December. Traders say the weather is so favorable at the moment.
