Accordingly, the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety said that the shipment of Long Thanh Co., Ltd., produced in 2022, had a residue level of tricyclazone in dried red chili samples ranging from 0.02-0.04 mg. /kg, which exceeds the Korean allowable limit of 0.01 mg/kg.
The Korean side has recalled dried red chili products distributed by 3 companies in this country from Long Thanh company, including Geosan Trading Co., Ltd., Seoul; Bokine Agriculture Co., Ltd., Daejeon, Yangil Agriculture Co., Ltd., Seoul distribute products of Long Thanh Co., Ltd.
Immediately after receiving the notice, the Plant Protection Department immediately directed to review, check and verify the above information.
As a result, the exporting unit was determined to register for business at Ngo Quyen Street Industrial Cluster, Cam Thuong Ward, City. Hai Duong, Hai Duong province.
On this basis, the Plant Protection Department sent a notice to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Hai Duong province, the Plant Quarantine Sub-Departments and the relevant enterprises to request.

On the local side, the Plant Protection Department requested the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Sub-Department of Plant Quarantine to supervise the activities of reviewing the stages in the management chain of enterprises, soon identify the causes and take remedial measures.

The application period of the above inspection requirements is 1 year, from March 31, 2023 to the end of March 30, 2024.
