Currently, the transportation of agricultural products and fruits from Vietnam to China is carried out by two main modes: sea transport for the northern market of China (long distance) and road transport for the northern market of China. with the southern Chinese market (short route, near the land border of Vietnam).

However, it is still difficult to convert the mode of transport of agricultural products from land to sea.

In order to promote the transformation of the mode of transporting agricultural products from land to sea, Mr. Hoang Hong Giang said that basically, it is necessary to adjust the export of goods to China through official channels to avoid risks of traffic accidents. policy side.

Because sea freight is based on supply and demand, shipping lines cannot add or establish new routes in a short time to serve customers.

At the same time, urgently work with shipping lines that have shipping routes to China to call for shipping lines to add seats and refrigerated containers to Vietnam to meet transportation needs in the immediate period; propagating and providing information for Vietnamese business owners to transfer the number of containers that are congested at the border to transport by sea.
