The price of black pepper according to Asta standards imported into the US market continued to increase by 50-100 USD compared to a few days ago.
Vietnam’s export black pepper grade 500 Gr/l-Asta priced at $5,950/ton, grade 550 Gr/l-Asta priced at $6,400/ton, grade 580 Gr/l-Asta priced at $6,800/ton. While Bra-ASTA black pepper is priced at 6,400 USD/ton, the MG1-India special grade and BG1-Indo grade are priced at 6,900 USD/ton.

According to the International Pepper Association (IPC), in 2011 production, Malaysia has 7,700 tons of white pepper, Brazil has 2,000 tons of white pepper and Indonesia has 12,000 tons of white pepper.
The annual output of pepper of all kinds of Brazil is from 35,000-40,000 tons, of which half is mainly exported to the US and some neighboring markets, the rest is for domestic consumption.
