“Although pepper prices still fluctuate up and down, this is a good sign, better than last year,” Huynh said.

According to Dak Song District People’s Committee, the district has nearly 10,500 hectares of pepper. Total pepper output of the whole district is estimated at more than 32,500 tons, reaching 103.8% of the year plan.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Vinh, Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in Dak Song district, said that over the past time, many households in the district have produced pepper according to quality standards. With the productivity and output of pepper this year, it shows that the direction of organic, natural, and food-safe pepper production is achieving practical efficiency.
