Domestic pepper prices today simultaneously decreased by 1,000 VND to 91,500 – 93,000 VND/kg. Lowest price in Gia Lai and Dong Nai, highest price in Dak Lak and Binh Phuoc.
In the past month, pepper prices across the country began to show signs of slowing down and decreased by about 3,000 – 4,000 VND/kg.

According to Dak Nong Provincial Department of Agricultural Development, the whole province currently has 34,000 hectares of pepper, with an output of nearly 70,000 tons. Total export turnover reached 235.6 million USD, of which black pepper reached 196.9 million USD, white pepper reached 38.7 million USD.
Brazil has passed the harvest season, Vietnam has just ended, while the main harvest of Indonesia and Malaysia is in July every year. From now until July 2024, it can be said that the main supply of global pepper will depend on Vietnam’s exports.
