The good results have been selected to create a new line with high yield of 76-80 quintals / ha, good rice quality, analytical results with Amilose content of 13.15%, Protein content of 7.92 %, lipid content of 7.6% … With many outstanding advantages over the original rice variety AN1 and hereby named it: Materials – NA6 (VT-NA6).
From this success, Nghe An Agricultural Materials Corporation has rapidly multiplied the varieties VT-NA6, and coordinated with the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development in both Nghe An and Ha Tinh to conduct pilot production combined with construction. model field model (CĐM) to promote the new rice variety VT-NA6 for producers to access and apply to production on a mass scale.
One of the models that left a lot of impression was that colleges in Nghi Van commune, Nghi Loc district surprised the delegation of people visiting the front-end workshop in Nghe An, Ha Tinh and MARD leaders.
This sample field has a size of more than 100 hectares, rice is very good and it is expected that the average yield can reach around 80 kilograms per hectare, which is very rare for such pure rice varieties. With the above advantages, the variety has been specially recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development as a new rice variety in Decision No. 46 QD-BNNTT dated November 8, 2018.
Since then, the rice variety VT-NA6 has become the main rice variety in the production structure in Nghe An with an annual scale of 18,000 – 20,000 ha per crop.
In particular, the rice variety VT-NA6 has been put into the project by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development: “Producing and processing high-quality rice varieties, on industrial scale and linking to build sample fields, raw material areas for rice production. commercial rice has high commodity value for domestic consumption and export for the North Central region “.
Building a chain of products “Rice origin of Nghe”

Purchasing all products for farmers at the free market price of rice, plus 12 – 15% of the incentive price to produce high quality rice varieties.
In the case of crop failures due to force majeure natural disasters, the Corporation and farmers can discuss and share the consequences, ensuring the harmony of interests of each party.
On the side of farmers who are responsible for cultivating all the areas stated in the contract, strictly follow the production process, sell all products to the Corporation with the requirement that rice seeds must be dry, not mixed varieties. Other rice, not floating …
By doing this, for each production crop, Nghe An Agricultural Materials Corporation has purchased 2,000 – 2,500 tons of rice VT-NA6 to ensure good quality.

The factory has been built and put into operation for 2 years now, with products bearing the brand “Nghe Made Rice” widely sold in the market both inside and outside the province, very popular with consumers.
