Taiwan ranked second with 13.9% of total volume and accounting for 12.6% of total turnover, reaching 19,059 tons, worth USD 29.8 million, average price of USD 1,563.8 / ton, up 2.6% in volume, up 3.7% in turnover and up 1% in price over the previous year.
Next, the Chinese market accounted for 6.2% of the total volume and 10.1% of the total tea export turnover of the whole country, reaching 8,482 tons, earning US $ 23.8 million, the price of US $ 2,806 / ton, down. 16.2% in volume but up 21% in turnover and sharply up 44% in price.
In 2019, tea exports to most markets decreased compared to the previous year, in which exports decreased sharply in markets such as Germany, down 58.7% in volume and 63.9% in needle. turnover, reaching 162 tons, equivalent to 0.71 million USD; Poland decreased by 40.4% in volume and 39.2% in turnover, reaching 609 tons, equivalent to 0.95 million USD; U.A.E decreased 37.8% in volume and 35.8% in turnover, reaching 1,687 tons, equivalent to 2.7 million USD.
However, exports increased sharply in the following markets: India increased the most by 17.9% in volume and 58% in turnover (reaching 1,023 tons, equivalent to US $ 1.43 million); Philippines increased 53.8% in volume and 55.7% in turnover (reaching 961 tons, equivalent to 2.5 million USD); Kuwait increased 94.1% in volume and 47.2% in turnover (reaching 33 tons, equivalent to US $ 0.07 million).
