Method of assigning tariff quotas for import of salt and poultry eggs in 2025
Tariff quotas for importing salt and poultry eggs in 2025 will be assigned according to the method specified in Article 9 of Decree No. 69/2018/ND-CP dated May 15, 2018 of the Government detailing a Number of articles of the Law on Foreign Trade Management and Article 15 of Circular No. 12/2018/TT-BCT dated June 15, 2018 of the Minister of Industry and Trade. detailing a number of articles of the Law on Foreign Trade Management and Decree No. 69/2018/ND-CP dated May 15, 2018 of the Government detailing a number of articles of the Law on Foreign Trade Management.
Subjects assigned tariff quotas to import salt and poultry eggs in 2025
1. Salt import tariff quotas are assigned to traders who directly use them as raw materials for the production of drugs, medical products and as raw materials for chemical production.
2. Tariff quotas for importing poultry eggs are allocated to traders wishing to import.
The start time for allocating tariff quotas for import of salt and poultry eggs is 2025
1. The starting time for allocating tariff quotas for import of salt as raw materials for the production of drugs and medical products in 2025 is from the date this Circular takes effect.
2. The Ministry of Industry and Trade discusses with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to determine the time to start assigning tariff quotas for importing salt as raw materials for chemical production and tariff quotas for importing goods. Poultry eggs in 2025.
This Circular takes effect from March 2, 2025 to December 31, 2025./.
