In recent days, due to the terrible devastation of Typhoon No. 3 (Yagi), the strongest typhoon in the past 30 years, which made landfall in the northern coastal region on September 7, 2024, causing significant damage in most provinces in the Red River Delta in the coming days, floods and landslides are forecast to continue to occur in some northern mountainous provinces. The affected communities are in great need of support from the government, organizations and individuals to help them stabilize their livelihoods, return to normal life and become more resilient to natural disasters.

Up to this point, heavy rain and landslides continue to threaten the provinces of Quang Ninh, Thai Binh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Hanoi, Hoa Binh, Bac Giang, Cao Bang, Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Son La… However, the effects and damage after the storm have not stopped yet, it is expected that in the coming days, the storm circulation will continue to cause heavy rain and landslides, seriously threatening the safety of people and property. With the current difficult situation, people in flood-affected areas are in great need of timely and practical support in spirit and material, helping to alleviate the pain and loss, contributing to the rapid restoration of production and stabilization of life.

With the slogan “The whole country looks towards our beloved Northern compatriots”, promoting the tradition of solidarity, “mutual love”, “the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves”, wishing to share updated information and connect donors with local authorities in provinces affected by natural disasters. In an effort to join hands with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and support organizations to effectively carry out emergency relief and post-disaster recovery activities, helping people quickly overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives, we call on all organizations and individuals, domestic and international, to join hands to support affected communities. Every contribution is meaningful in helping the community overcome this challenging time.
