Son La inaugurated a fresh fruit processing factory worth VND 3,500 billion

On September 20, in Long Luong commune (Van Ho), Son La Provincial People’s Committee coordinated with TH Group to hold the Inauguration Ceremony and to attach the signboard of the Van Ho Fresh Fruit and Herbal Processing Factory. Son La newspaper report.

The factory was built in Co Cham village, Long Luong commune (Van Ho); Scale of over 14 ha, total investment capital of 3,500 billion VND.

In phase 1, the investment is 1,200 billions copper, the processing capacity of 300 tons of vegetables, fruits and herbs / day. This phase, will solve 15,000 ha of raw material areas; focus on processing longan, guava, mango, orange, passion fruit, apple cat …; produce juices of natural vegetables, tubers and fruits without heat treatment.

The factory uses new and modern technologies in the production of fruit juices, including: fully automatic extraction technology, HPP high pressure processing technology (high pressure processing technology in a short time, do not use heat, keep color, flavor, nutritional value of the product).

The product is sterilized in 20 kg Bag in Box and 220 liter drums, refrigerated negative 18oC.

When officially going into production, phase 1, products will be sold domestically and exported to factories as raw materials for fruit juice processing; to phase 2, selling directly to the market to consumers, domestic consumption and export

Mr. Nguyen Huu Dong, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said that the operation of the factory will contribute to solving the output for agricultural products of the province; create conditions for households, businesses and cooperatives to connect the production chain and consume sustainable agricultural products; link between production, processing, consumption and export.

Accordingly, Son La province commits to accompany TH Group; directing departments, branches, districts and cities to continue developing safe and sustainable raw material areas, ensuring the supply of raw materials for the factory; connect to build a raw material supply chain associated with processing, meeting the plant’s processing capacity.
