Specifically, Thai Binh is the only province in the northern region with the price of 100,000 VND / kg live hogs, which is the highest price of this locality last week.
Besides, Hung Yen has a slight decrease of 1,000 VND / kg in the first day of the week, trading between 97,000 – 99,000 VND / kg. Compared to last week, the price of live hog in this province has decreased by VND 8,000 / kg from the peak of VND 105,000 / kg.
Recorded in Hanoi this morning, down 2,000 VND / kg, the price of live pigs in this locality is 98,000 VND / kg. Same deals with the equivalent prices are Yen Bai, Lao Cai, Nam Dinh, Phu Tho, Ha Nam, Ninh Binh and Tuyen Quang.
Meanwhile, 97,000 VND / kg is the lowest hog price in the northern region at the present time. Being traded in 3 localities namely Vinh Phuc, Bac Giang and Thai Nguyen.
In general, live hog prices in the North at the beginning of this week traded between VND 97,000 – VND 100,000 per kg, compared to the beginning of the previous week, although there was a decrease but still at a high level.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development officially imports live pigs to reduce the market for live pigs. Enterprises importing live pigs must comply with the current law provisions on import quarantine, ensure epidemic safety for domestic cattle and carry out 30 days of import of live pigs.
Thus, it must be through mid-July to have the “foreign” live pigs officially marketed. This is the first time Vietnam has officially imported live pigs from abroad, according to Thanh Nien Magazine reporting.
Prices of live hog today in the Central region and Central Highlands stand still

Pork prices in Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Hue remained stable at VND 93,000 / kg. The farmer said that if the herd is beautiful, the price difference may be 1,000 VND / kg.
In the Central Highlands region, the price of live hog today ranges from VND 96,000 – 97,000 / kg.
In general, the price of live hog traded in the Central and the Central Highlands continued at around VND 96,000 – 99,000 / kg.

The price of live hog today in the South plummeted
The price of live hog in the South today plummeted in some localities after a quiet weekend with a decrease of 2,000 – 3,000 VND / kg.
Currently, only 3 localities have maintained the 100,000 VND / kg milestone, namely Dong Nai, Vung Tau and Tien Giang.
Accordingly, Long An, Ben Tre and Tra Vinh dropped by VND 3,000 / kg, purchased by traders with prices ranging from VND 94,000 to VND 97,000. In particular, Tra Vinh has the lowest price in the region with VND 94,000 / kg.
Binh Phuoc followed by 95,000 VND / kg, down 2,000 VND / kg compared to the end of last week. Provinces with the same prices are: Ho Chi Minh City, Vinh Long, Can Tho, Kien Giang and Soc Trang.

At Hoc Mon wholesale market, the number of pigs on the market on 31/5 reached 3,600 heads and the trading situation at the market was quite favorable.
