Customs statistics show that, in the first half of September, 5,747 tons of pepper were exported, reaching a turnover of US $ 38.19 million, up 111.91% in volume and 222.28% in value compared to the value. In the same period last year, the average export price reached 6,645 USD / ton, up 6.25% compared to the average export price of the preceding month.
According to the Center of Informatics and Statistics of Agriculture, pepper export in September is estimated at 15 thousand tons, turnover is 103 million USD, bringing the export volume of 9 months to 115 thousand tons with a turnover value exports 663 million USD, up 17.4% in volume and more than 2 times in value compared to the same period last year.
The price fluctuation makes the supply of pepper to the market more limited.
