Brazil also dropped to 30,000 tons from 40,000 tons last year.

According to the International Pepper Association (IPC), this year Indonesia's pepper output is only 37,000 tons, down 15,000 tons, equivalent to 28.8% compared to 2010, due to heavy rains in Lampung states, Bangka and southern Sumatra state, the main pepper growing areas of the country. Expected export this year is only 23,000 tons of all kinds of pepper, down 47.7% compared to exports in 2010.

Meanwhile, the Brazilian Pepper Commission stated that the country's pepper output in 2011 will reach 35,000 tons, an increase of 1,000 tons compared to 2010. The Commission also expects this year to export only 30,000 tons of pepper of all kinds. , down 11.8% compared to the export of 2010. The export volume decreased slightly due to increased domestic consumption.

The statistics report of Customs said that in the first 4 months of the year, our country exported 41,247 tons of pepper of all kinds, reaching a turnover of US $ 210,920 million, about 7.1% in volume but about 55% in price, 8% over the same period last year.

According to the latest figures of the General Statistics Office, pepper export in May was estimated at 15 thousand tons, turnover was estimated at US $ 87 million, bringing the export volume of pepper in the first 5 months to 56 thousand tons with export value. USD 297 million, down 5.6% in volume but increasing 61.2% in value over the same period last year.

At present, Vietnam's export price of black pepper grade 500 Gr / l FAQ price 5,200 USD / ton, type 550 Gr / l FAQ price 5,500 USD, white pepper type D / W 630 Gr / l price 7,800 USD / ton, average USD 100 / tonne for each of the previous week's prices.

Predicting, from now until the end of June, the price of pepper will increase or decrease is a question not easy to have the answer, especially under the pressure of capital.
