According to records, over the years, pepper plants have fallen into price storms and disease storms, causing hundreds of farming households to fall into hardship and even go bankrupt.

However, instead of falling into the vicious circle of “planting, planting tightly”, more and more farmers in Binh Phuoc province are choosing to grow pepper organically, thanks to changing their thinking for sustainable development. With this approach, many households are still living well, despite erratic weather, pest damage, and unstable prices.

Mr. Hoang Van Dinh, Chairman of the Farmers’ Association of Thong Nhat commune, Bu Dang district, said that at times when prices are high, people apply chemical fertilizers and use pesticides without the correct procedures and dosages, leading to damage to pepper trees. die a lot.

Therefore, to stabilize production, the Commune Farmers’ Association has mobilized people to meet to establish clean pepper cooperatives (cooperatives) affiliated with Nedspice – Vietnam Spice Processing Company Limited so that they can instruct them on Fertilization, care, and pest treatment processes on plants.

At the same time, farmers absolutely do not use pesticides, chemical fertilizers, or banned substances, but only apply manure and biological sprays to create clean, beautiful, green, productive, and quality pepper gardens. High.

Thong Nhat Commune Clean Pepper Cooperative was established in 2021 with 20 members. The cooperative has linked with Nedspice Spice Processing Company Limited – Vietnam to cover 100% of output products with a commitment to be higher than the market price.

However, cooperatives must comply with organic care and fertilization procedures and “say no to chemical fertilizers and herbicides”.

In Hung Phuoc new rural commune, Bu Dop district, the agricultural product recognized and highly appreciated is the organic pepper of Mr. Vo Ngoc Que’s household. With an area of 5 hectares, over the years, his family has always strictly implemented the “3 no” production process: No chemicals, no pesticides and no use of banned substances.

Mr. Que said that in order to have clean, quality organic pepper products, one must strictly follow the planting and care methods according to all training regulations. His family’s pepper garden is always the greenest and most fruitful in the region.

Compared to other production methods, growing organically, the survival rate of pepper plants is over 95%, the product value is always 20-30% higher than regular pepper and there is no need to worry about product output. according to People’s Police Newspaper.
