According to the survey, pepper price fluctuating between 82,000 – 85,500 VND/kg after being adjusted to increase 2,500 – 3,500 VND/kg on weekends.
Accordingly, the lowest price recorded in Gia Lai province is 82,000 VND/kg – an increase of 2,500 VND/kg, slightly higher is Dong Nai province with a price of 82,500 VND/kg – an increase of 3,000 VND/kg.
The three provinces of Dak Lak, Dak Nong and Ba Ria – Vung Tau are having the same price of 85,000 VND/kg, of which Ba Ria – Vung Tau province increased to 3,500 VND/kg and the remaining two provinces increased to 3,000 VND/kg.
Similarly, today’s pepper price in Binh Phuoc province also increased by 3,500 VND/kg to 85,500 VND/kg.

Vietnam’s pepper market share in Korea’s total imports increased slightly from 89.59% in the first 10 months of 2022 to 90.47% in the first 10 months of 2023.
In contrast, Korea increased pepper imports from the Malaysian market in the first 10 months of 2023, up 5.7% in volume, but down 8.8% in value, reaching 340 tons, down to 1.91 million USD.
Malaysia’s pepper market share in Korea’s total imports from the world increased from 5.16% in the first 10 months of 2022 to 7.49% in the first 10 months of 2023.
