While India’s export price of black pepper special grade MG1-ASTA has a competitive price of $6,700/ton, and Brazil-ASTA export black pepper is priced at $6,300/ton, FOB.
The price of pepper in the futures market has dropped erratically, making the domestic market quiet. Gardeners who need to spend also have to wait and hope for a better price. This is also the dominant factor in the world supply of pepper.
This year, the main pepper producing countries have lost their crops, in the context of increasing consumption demand, so the world can only rely on pepper from Vietnam.
