While India’s export price of black pepper special grade MG1-ASTA has a competitive price of $6,700/ton, and Brazil-ASTA export black pepper is priced at $6,300/ton, FOB.
The price of pepper in the futures market has dropped erratically, making the domestic market quiet. Gardeners who need to spend also have to wait and hope for a better price. This is also the dominant factor in the world supply of pepper.
