While the export price of Indian black pepper of special grade MG1-ASTA was competitively priced at US $ 6,700 / ton, and Brazil-ASTA export grade black pepper was priced at US $ 6,300 / ton, FOB.
Last time pepper prices in the futures market dropped erratically, making the domestic market trading quiet. Growers need to spend also wait and hope for a better price. This is also a factor that dominates the supply of pepper to the world.
