According to preliminary data reported by the General Department of Vietnam Customs, pepper exports in September 2019 reached 15,048 tons of pepper of all kinds, down 3,824 tons, or 20.26% lower than the previous month and down 2,462 tons, ie 14.06% decrease over the same period last year.

The export turnover in the month reached 37.08 million USD, down 9.32 million USD, or 20.08% lower than the previous month and down 13.68 million USD, or 26.95% decrease over the same period last year. last year.

The cumulative export volume of the first 9 months of 2019 reached a total of 233,406 tons of pepper of all kinds, an increase of 40,674 tons, or 21.10% increase compared to the export volume of the first 9 months of 2018. However, in terms of turnover value. Exports in the first 9 months of 2019 only reached a total of 593.41 million USD, down 40.73 million USD, or 6.98% decrease over the same period.

The average export price of pepper in September 2019 reached $2,464 per ton, up 0.24% compared to the average export price of August 2019.
