According to the preliminary data report of the General Department of Vietnam Customs, pepper exports in November 2022 reached 16,275 tons of pepper of all kinds, down 1,321 tons, ie down 7.51% compared to the previous month and down 96 tons, ie 0.59% decrease compared to the same period last year.

The value of export turnover in the month reached 60.32 million USD, down 6.28 million USD, or 0.43% compared to the previous month and 15.58 million USD, down 20.537% over the same period last year. .

The cumulative export volume of pepper in the first 11 months of 2022 reached a total of 208,173 tons of pepper of all kinds, down 37,822 tons, or 15.38% lower than the export volume of the first 11 months of 2021.

In terms of export turnover in the first 11 months of 2022, it totaled 896.87 million USD, up 29.83 million USD, or 3.44% over the same period.

The average export price of pepper in November 2022 reached USD 3,706/ton, down 2.09% compared to the average export price of October 2022.

Export of pepper of Vietnam continued to decline in both volume and price as credit interest rates were raised by many central banks because of concerns about the global economic recession and the value of emerging currencies was still on the decline, leading to speculation. absent from the world pepper export market.
