According to preliminary data reported by the General Department of Vietnam Customs, pepper exports in November 2019 reached 17,016 tons of pepper of all kinds, down 53 tons, or 0.31% compared to the previous month and up 4,526 tons. , ie a sharp increase of 36.24% over the same period last year.
The export value of pepper in the month reached 40.04 million USD, down 1.16 million USD, or 2.82% compared to the previous month, but increased by 1.30 million USD, or 3.36% increase compared to the previous month. with the same period last year.
The cumulative export volume of pepper in the first 11 months of 2019 reached a total of 267,309 tons of pepper of all kinds, an increase of 47,116 tons, or 21.40% increase compared to the export volume of the first 11 months of 2018. However, in terms of value. Export turnover in the first 11 months of 2019 totaled 674.27 million USD, down 44.01 million USD, or 6.13% decrease over the same period.
The average export price of pepper in November 2019 reached $2,353 per ton, down 2.53% compared to the average export price of October 2019.
