According to the preliminary data report of the General Department of Vietnam Customs, pepper exports in February 2024 reached 13,450 tons of pepper of all kinds, down 4,017 tons, or down 23.0% compared to the previous month and down 14,500 tons, which is a decrease of 51.88% compared to the same period last year.

The value of export turnover in the month reached 54.46 million USD, down 15.39 million USD, or down 22.04% compared to the previous month and down 29.48 million USD, down 35.12% over the same period. last year.

The cumulative export volume of pepper in the first 2 months of 2024 reached a total of 30,914 tons of pepper of all kinds, down 9,517 tons, or 23.54% compared to the export volume in the first 2 months of 2023.

Regarding the value of export turnover in the first 2 months of 2024, it reached a total of 124.32 million USD, down 2.61 million USD, or down 2.06% over the same period.

The average export price of pepper in February 2024 reached 4,050 USD/ton, an increase of 1.25% compared to the average export price of January 2024.
