According to preliminary data reported by the General Department of Vietnam Customs, pepper exports in February 2023 reached 28,011 tons of pepper of all kinds, an increase of 15,458 tons, ie a sharp increase of 123.14% over the previous month and an increase. 13,643 tons, ie an increase of 94.95% over the same period last year.

The export value of pepper in the month reached US$84.19 million, an increase of US$40.98 million, or an increase of 94.85% over the previous month and an increase of US$18.83 million, or an increase of 28.80% over the same period. period of the previous year.

The cumulative export volume of pepper in the first two months of 2023 reached a total of 40,492 tons of pepper of all kinds, an increase of 10,459 tons, or an increase of 34.83% compared to the export volume of the first two months of 2022.

In terms of export turnover in the first two months of 2023, a total of 127.16 million USD, down 11.94 million USD, or 8.65% decrease over the same period.

The average export price of pepper in February 2023 reached 3,006 USD/ton, down 12.67% compared to the average export price of January 2023.
