According to preliminary data reported by the General Department of Vietnam Customs, pepper exports in February 2020 reached 25,609 tons of all kinds of pepper, an increase of 10,933 tons, ie an increase of 74.5% compared to the previous month and an increase of 9,216 tons. , ie an increase of 56.22 % over the same period last year.

The export value of pepper in the month reached 57.03 million USD, up 21.18 million USD, or 59.07% higher than the previous month and 13.61 million USD, up 31.33% compared to the previous month. in the same period last year.

The cumulative export volume of pepper in the first 2 months of 2020 reached a total of 40,243 tons of pepper of all kinds, an increase of 4,573 tons, ie an increase of 12.82% compared to the export volume of the first 2 months of 2019.

However, in terms of export turnover in the first 2 months of 2020, a total of 92.74 million USD, down 7.38 million USD, or 7.38% decrease over the same period.

The average export price of pepper in February 2020 reached 2,227 USD/ton, down 8.84% compared to the average export price of January 2020.
