The export value of pepper in the month reached 66.48 million USD, down 28.64 million USD, or 30.11% lower than the previous month, but increased by 23.18 million USD, or 53.53% higher than that of the previous month. with the same period last year.
The cumulative export volume of pepper in the first 8 months of 2021 reached a total of 197,766 tons of pepper of all kinds, down 4,063 tons, or 2.01% lower than the export volume in the first 8 months of 2020.
In terms of export turnover in the first eight months of 2021, it totaled US$657.82 million, an increase of US$214.25 million, or an increase of 48.30 percent over the same period.
The average export price of pepper in August 2021 reached USD 3,769/ton, up 4.37% compared to the average export price of July 2021.
