According to preliminary report data from the General Department of Vietnam Customs, pepper exports in December 2023 reached 20,285 tons of pepper of all kinds, an increase of 47 tons, an increase of 0.23% compared to the previous month and a decrease of 145 tons. , a decrease of 0.71% compared to the same period last year.

The value of pepper export turnover in the month reached 77.56 million USD, down 0.14 million USD, or down 0.18% compared to the previous month and up 4.07 million USD, or up 5.54% compared to the previous month. in the same period last year.

The cumulative export volume of pepper for the whole year 2023 will reach a total of 265,897 tons of pepper of all kinds, an increase of 37,214 tons, or an increase of 16.27% compared to the export volume for the whole year 2022.

Regarding the value of export turnover for the whole year 2023, it will reach a total of 910,490 million USD, down 60.06 million USD, or down 6.19% compared to the whole year 2022.

The average export price of pepper in December 2023 reached 3,824 USD/ton, down 0.42% compared to the average export price of November 2023.
