But sadly, collectors are doing bad quality pepper for profit. After buying dried pepper from farmers, traders wet it with water, then mix with dried powdered soil, the soil will absorb water and stick to pepper. The soil surrounding the pepper has both increased its volume and passed the quality and moisture testing equipment. The danger is that just by mixing the soil through the soil, the moisture will increase and absorb more moisture when the soil is dry and the pepper mold is damaged.
“Consequently, exporting businesses suffer losses after purchasing this product from traders. If it is not detected in time to sell to the importer, the damage will be greater and the reputation will be seriously affected, leading to the loss of customers. Fortunately, up to now, there has not been any dirty pepper shipment “falling” from Customs to export “- Mr. Binh worried.
Too pressing, Mr. Nguyen Ba Thinh, a pepper farmer in Binh Phuoc province, suggested that the association and ministries and branches must stop and severely punish the worms that sorrow this soup, otherwise the prestige and price will reduce, enterprises and farmers will suffer the most damage ”.
“Given this situation, I find that the Chu Se Pepper Association has a good way of doing a root check at farmers' houses. If the standard is met, they will contact businesses and farmers to sell directly without going through traders or agents.
