As the Customs Newspaper has continuously reported in recent days, the local congestion of agricultural exports at Tan Thanh border gate has increased sharply from October 15 to now, sometimes up to nearly 700 vehicles. It extends 5 km from near Coc Nam border gate to the non-tariff area into the border gate.

According to statistics from Tan Thanh Customs Branch, currently, the average number of vehicles exported to China is less than 100 vehicles per day, while in the past, Tan Thanh border gate exported about 350 vehicles.

The main reason is that the Chinese side implemented the control process for transport vehicles and imported goods from October 12.

Accordingly, all means of entry into China are strictly controlled by the Chinese forces, manually checking each cabin and container, so the average of each inspection vehicle increases. about 5-7 minutes compared to before.
