Implementing the direction of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on July 18, 2024 on assigning the Vietnam SPS Office, specialized Departments, and Vietnam Agriculture Newspaper to deploy measures to strengthen the dissemination and update of food safety and animal and plant disease safety regulations (SPS) to help businesses, cooperatives and farmers participating in the production and processing chain of agricultural, food and aquatic products raise awareness and comply with regulations of the import market and Decision No. 1624/QD-BNN-CCPT dated June 11, 2024 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on approving the 2024 work program, the Vietnam SPS Office coordinated with the Department of Food Safety of Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam Agriculture Newspaper to organize the Conference, specifically:
1. Conference content: “Strengthening the implementation of regulations and commitments on food safety and animal and plant quarantine (SPS) in the EVFTA Agreement, RCEP Agreement (ASEAN with China, Korea, Japan and Australia-New Zealand) and implementation solutions”
2. Time: Friday, August 2, 2024 (scheduled program attached)
3. Location: Thien Hong Hotel, 52-56 Tan Da, Ward 10, District 5, Ho Chi Minh City.
4. Co-chairs of the conference: Leaders of Vietnam SPS Office, Leaders of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety and Leaders of Vietnam Agriculture Newspaper;
