Intimex Group Joint Stock Company is a joint stock company from the branch of Intimex Import Export Company in Ho Chi Minh City under the Ministry of Trade (now the Ministry of Industry and Trade). The company officially operated on July 1, 2006 with a charter capital of 14.4 billion VND and 91 employees. Up to now, the company has had 15 member companies, 7 branches, 7 domestic affiliated companies and 1 company abroad.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Intimex Group is Mr. Do Ha Nam. Mr. Nam is also Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Food Association (VIETFOOD) and Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Coffee and Cocoa Association (VICOFA).
Vietnam’s leading exporter of coffee and rice
After 18 years of operation, Intimex has built a chain of 13 factories producing and processing coffee beans for export in major raw material areas across the country, spanning across provinces and cities including: Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong, Binh Duong, Dong Nai… with a total capacity of 750 thousand tons/year.
According to statistics, in just the first 8 months of 2024, the company’s total import-export turnover exceeded 934 million USD with a total revenue of more than 46.8 trillion VND. The impressive success in the first half of 2024 not only reflects Intimex’s financial strength and scale expansion but also affirms the effectiveness of the sustainable development strategy that the company has pursued.
With a modern coffee processing factory system, Intimex has improved its ability to meet market demands while optimizing the production process to ensure stable product quality and high efficiency.
In addition, from processing and exporting coffee, the company has also expanded its scale to processing pepper, cashew nuts and rice. Currently, Intimex owns 2 factories processing clean pepper for export in Binh Duong and Gia Lai, 3 factories processing cashew nuts for export in Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc and Tay Ninh, 2 factories processing rice for export in Dong Thap and An Giang with a capacity of 450 thousand tons/year, 1 instant coffee processing factory with a capacity of 4 thousand tons/year and is implementing to increase the capacity to 8 thousand tons/year.
The company’s commercial centers are located in major cities and provinces, which play an important role in import-export activities such as Da Nang, Hai Phong, Dak Lak, Tay Ninh. In addition, Intimex also has 5 ready-mixed concrete factories in Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai. 80% of the factories have been in operation for over 5 years, so they have been fully depreciated. The total value of the company’s assets is more than 8,928.8 billion VND.
