At the same time, the price of pepper in the domestic market has dropped from VND 120,000 to below VND 100,000 / kg, making the situation in the domestic market and producers worried. India is a very important market for Vietnamese pepper. In 2016, Vietnam's pepper exports to India reached over 11,000 tons, ranking third after the US and the United Arab Emirates. India's demand to import pepper from Vietnam is forecast to reach 15,000 tons in 2017. In recent days, Indian businesses are also very impatient to expect the Suspension of import of pepper.
