According to the report of the General Department of Customs, exports in the first half of June 2022 reached 11,876 tons of pepper of all kinds, with a turnover of 50.16 million USD, bringing the export of the first 5.5 months of the year to 111,382 tons. decreased by 19.16% in volume but increased by 16.64% in value over the same period last year. The average export price of pepper in the period reached $4,224/ton, down 6.24% compared to the average export price of May 2022.
