From about the middle of the week of 7-2011 up to now, many farmers in the two largest pepper baskets of Gia Lai province are Chu Se and Chu Puh who always have to live in a state of loss of food and insomnia due to mass deaths. A few households lose a few dozen pillars, a household has a lot of thousands.

That is not including the number of pillars of disease detection in a timely manner, who tried to inject drugs according to the guidance of the Plant Protection Station; However, at present, they are also in a condition where the leaves are yellowing.
Mr. Thang added, since the disease was discovered, the family “poured” into the garden to spend tens of millions of dong on medicines but the pepper still died. More ominous, is that the disease spreads very quickly. Looking at the posts that Mr. Thang's family had just replanted, the leaves were showing signs of contraction.
According to Mr. Thang, if pepper is not sick, at current prices, his family will collect over 200 million VND. Damage due to not harvested for several years, plus the cost of new investment takes several million a pillar, but replanting is unlikely to get rid of disease, then investment money, bank loans … will be a burden of family family.
In Plei Tho Ga village in particular and Chu Don commune in general almost every household suffers from death due to illness, many houses suffer from 80% to 100% damage. The association has cooperated with specialized agencies to directly go to the field of each diseased plant, but also acknowledged the impotence. The pepper garden which is lucky to discover the disease early can still be saved, and when the disease is severe, the cost of treatment is very high, the treatment situation is also precarious.
