Brazil’s share of pepper in total German imports increased from 38% in the first eight months of 2019 to 41.6% in the first eight months of 2020.

In contrast, German pepper imports from Vietnam in the eight months of 2020 decreased by 2.7% in volume and 11.5% in value over the same period in 2019, reaching 8.8 thousand tons, worth 24. , 7 million USD.

Vietnam’s market share of pepper in total German imports increased from 40.7% in the first eight months of 2019 to 41% in the first nine months of 2020.
