On April 29, the Government Office issued Official Letter No. 172 / TB-VPCP announcing the conclusion of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on solutions to manage rice export in the near future. Accordingly, from May 1, the rice export has returned to normal under the Government's Decree No. 107/2018 / ND-CP of August 15, 2018, on rice export business.
Therefore, from May 8, the General Department of Customs stopped updating the information on rice export registration volume by quota in April 2020 at the homepage of the General Department of Customs Web Portal.
The statistics on rice items are still disseminated in the statistical tables scheduled on the portal of the General Department of Customs.
Before the time of stopping updating information on the number of rice export registrations according to the quota of April 2020, the amount of rice enterprises had exported was more than 336,747 tons, equivalent to more than 84% of the total amount of rice in the 400,000 tons quota. .
