In the first 3 months of the year alone, the Philippines ranked first in Vietnam's rice export market with 36.7% market share, output reached 594.2 thousand tons (up 8.2%), the value reached 257.2 million USD (up 19.1%) over the same period last year.

Regarding export market, in 4 months, China is still the market with the largest market share with export turnover of nearly 2.8 billion USD, down by 17.7% YoY and accounting for 23.4% market share. part; followed by the United States was estimated at 2.78 billion USD, down 13.9% over the same period and accounted for 23.33% market share; EU market is estimated at 1.3 billion USD, down 1.9% and accounting for 10.75% market share; Export to Japan reached nearly 1.1 billion USD, up 2.9%, accounting for 9.0% market share; Export to ASEAN countries reached nearly US $ 1.3 billion, up 7.1% and accounting for 10.49% of the market share.
