Analyzing the export market, Director of the Department of Agricultural Product Processing and Market Development (MARD) Nguyen Quoc Toan said that items such as rubber, fruits, vegetables, timber and forest products and aquatic products products… are forecasted to have a large growth in exports. For example, rubber products, in the period of 2022 – 2024, world rubber may enter a fairly strong price increase cycle because the supply is decreasing. Therefore, Vietnam’s rubber exports can continue to benefit in price, the total value of rubber exports in 2022 is forecast to exceed 3.6 billion USD.
Increase the value of exported products
In order to increase the export value of agricultural products in 2022, the agricultural industry will focus on increasing processing, focusing on strategic products of high value.

Currently, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development is consulting with embassies and trade offices of Vietnam abroad, in the immediate future, the EU and China, to develop a scheme to export agricultural products sustainably, without letting the situation come to a new crop. to collect agricultural products for export, but must create a standardized raw material area.
In addition, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development will closely coordinate with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to speed up the negotiation process to expand export markets to EU countries under the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) and other countries. free trade between Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union (VN-EAEU FTA).
