Dak Nong has about 500 households lacking water, most of them concentrated in Krong No district.

In Tuy Duc district, the lack of domestic water occurred in Si At village, Dak Ngo commune with about 150 households.

The reason is that there is no clean water facility here or there is one that is damaged and degraded. Groundwater sources in these communes have decreased sharply, water sources in dug wells and drilled wells have largely dried up.

Currently, Dak Nong province has 32 reservoirs that have run out of water or are about to run out of water, the total capacity of the lakes is only about 40.74%.

It is forecasted that in the near future, if the weather is not favorable and there is no rain, the area of ​​water-deficient crops in the entire province will increase to about 28,059 hectares.
