Despite having such a high price, buyers prefer lots of high-density granulated seed, belonging to Vinh Linh pepper rather than Indian pepper. Agents with a familiar relationship, often doing business with Chinese traders said that they often preferred high-weight shipments, bringing them to Hainan for processing white pepper to sell to international customers.
An expert on pepper said that choosing to buy buckets of high weight is Chinese traders who have carefully calculated them. If they buy high-quality semi-processed pepper from exporters, they have to spend an additional US $ 200-250 / ton, while buying from the dealers, they will be ready to buy high-density pepper for processing. White pepper, with low weight, were used for domestic consumption in China.
Because of such advantages, they often seek the source of goods directly from agents rather than buying through domestic trading companies.
