Generally in the first quarter of 2020, coffee exports reached 489.2 thousand tons, worth $ 835.22 million, up 0.3% in volume, but down 1.5% in value over the same period in 2019.

In March 2020, the average export price of coffee reached USD 1,734 / ton, an increase of 2.9% compared to February 2020 and an increase of 0.1% compared to March 2019. Generally in the first quarter of 2020, the average export price of coffee reached 1,707 USD / ton, down 1.8% over the same period in 2019.

In March 2020, the average export price of coffee to many markets increased compared to February 2020 and increased compared to March 2019, such as Laos reached the highest level of USD 4,956 / ton; Chile reached 3,643 USD / ton; China reached 3,335 USD / ton; Romania reached 2,177 USD / ton; Australia reached 2,086 USD / ton; The Netherlands reached 2,019 USD / ton; In contrast, the average export price of coffee to some markets decreased such as the Philippines, Russia, Ukraine, Thailand, Indonesia, Canada, Italy, and Portugal.
