In 2024, the price of fresh cocoa ranged from 11,000-12,000 VND/kg, increased 2-3 times compared to 2023 and earlier.
Currently, in early 2025, the price of fresh cocoa has increased to 13,500-14,700 VND/kg.

At present, the price of cocoa increases, on average each hectare, farmers earn up to VND 500-600 million. “After deducting fertilizer costs and care, farmers still have at least 400 – 500 million dong,” Lap shared.
Also according to Mr. Lap, this year’s cocoa harvest took place at the time before the Lunar New Year, so many farmers welcome the full New Year.
In Dong Nai, the new planted area for 3 years has increased. Cocoa production in 2024 increased by 25% compared to the previous year mainly thanks to farmers planting and taking care of the technical process better.
