Therefore, the Chinese side announced to restore customs clearance time at Tan Thanh – Po Chai since May 1, earlier than expected on May 6.

Recently, in the context of complicated Covid-19 epidemic, the Chinese side has strengthened measures to control and prevent epidemics at land border gates, including the border areas with Vietnam. .

These measures have greatly affected the customs clearance and exchange of goods of businesses and residents of the two countries in the Vietnam – China border area in April.

According to statistics from the Department of Industry and Trade of Lang Son, there are about 1,000 vehicles carrying these exported goods at these border gates.
