The 52nd International Pepper Community (IPC) Annual Conference will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 18-21 November 2024 with two main components including conference and exhibition.
The IPC Conference is not only a gathering place for many actors in the supply chain, of the world’s leading pepper exporting enterprises, but also an opportunity to meet, exchange, share experiences and information with experts in the global pepper and spice industry, including representatives from the American Spice Trade Association (ASTA), the European Spice Association (ESA), the Chinese Spice Association, Cambodia, etc. In addition to topics on techniques and sustainable farming trends, delegates will be updated on the latest regulations of the import market, especially the reported data on the import-export situation, consumption, inventory, and market prices of pepper from the world’s major pepper producing countries, which are presented in detail at the Conference.
As an active member of IPC, the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA) will join the leaders of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to attend the IPC Conference to report on the production and trade of Vietnamese pepper in the past year as well as forecast for the following year.
