On the world market, at the end of the last session, spot prices of pepper at Kochi – India were at Rs 41,000 / quintal (highest) and Rs 40,433.35 / quintal (lowest), up 333.3. Rupee / quintal compared to yesterday.

The cross rate of Vietnam dong against the Indian Rupee (INR) on April 16 was applied by the State Bank to calculate the import and export tax of 309.76 VND / INR.

Today’s pepper prices in the domestic market were traded at VND 66,000 – 71,500 / kg in localities.

Specifically, today’s pepper price in Gia Lai was the lowest in the market at VND66,000 / kg.

Today’s pepper prices in Dong Nai provinces (68,000 VND / kg); Dak Nong, Dak Lak (69,500 VND / kg); Binh Phuoc (70,500 VND / kg) and Ba Ria – Vung Tau were at the highest threshold of 71,500 VND / kg.

The fall in pepper prices over the past few days is due to the fact that speculators who borrowed money to store pepper have started to “impatient” and discharge the goods. However, according to the reflection in some places, some agents are turning to gather the goods again.
