Besides, although the price is high, not every region or household will benefit, because the decline in output, destruction of diseases, and death has occurred a lot. Some gardeners look at the pepper prices but feel pity, because this year there is no pepper to sell.
Price movements showed that when the price just touched 80,000 VND / kg, it immediately turned around. In the last 2 weeks, pepper prices tended to decrease slightly, fluctuating between 71,000 and 76,000 VND / kg.
The current state of pepper prices makes it difficult for both agents and farmers to predict. Most pepper farmers expect good pepper prices to be kept until the harvest is complete in order to pick up after a long time the pepper prices drop deeply.
Meanwhile, agents reported that although pepper prices are on the rise, purchase and sale transactions have declined sharply, agents cannot buy many goods. The reason for the delay in the collection of pepper is people have not completed the harvest; Pepper prices have increased so farmers have psychology to keep goods.
Pepper is good, farmers regret, have not yet been in a hurry to sell, only a few people sell pepper scatter in order to pay for rent or living expenses.
