Shrimp
As soon as the EVFTA takes effect, the export tax on some Vietnamese shrimp products to the EU will be 0%:

+ Shrimp HS code 03061710 (frozen PD shrimp, frozen whole tiger prawn HOSO, frozen fresh tiger shrimp, frozen black tiger shrimp, fresh frozen HLSO tiger shrimp, IQF frozen tiger shrimp, frozen meat white shrimp … ) from the current level of 20%;
+ Shrimp HS code 03061791, 03061792, 03061793, 03061799 from the current 12%.
After 5 years: shrimp code HS 03061794 will decrease to 0% from 18%;
After 7 years: shrimp HS code 16052110 (shrimp paste) and shrimp code HS 16052190 (other shrimp) will be adjusted from 20% to 0%.
Tuna
The EU will eliminate tariffs on fresh and frozen tuna products (except frozen tuna loins / fillets code HS0304) as soon as the agreement comes into force;
For frozen tuna loins / fillets, code HS030487, the EU will eliminate tariffs for Vietnam according to a 3-year roadmap, from the base tax rate of 18%;
With steamed tuna loins / fillets (raw materials for canned tuna production), the EU will eliminate tariffs for Vietnam according to a 7-year roadmap, from the base tax rate of 24%;
