According to the Government Newspaper

Accordingly, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development proposed the List of plant protection drugs allowed to be used in Vietnam, including 1,844 active ingredients used in agriculture. Specifically: 878 active ingredients with 1,822 pesticide trade names; 607 active ingredients with 1,190 brand names of pesticides; 251 active ingredients with 706 brand names of herbicides; 8 active ingredients with 26 trade names of rat poison; 54 active ingredients with 157 brands of growth regulators; 8 active ingredients with 8 trade names that attract insects; 33 active ingredients with 153 brands of snail pesticides; 5 active ingredients with 6 brand names of auxiliary substances (spreaders).

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development also proposed in the List of plant protection drugs allowed to be used in Vietnam 15 active ingredients with 25 trade names of termite pesticides; 7 active ingredients with 8 trade names of forest preservatives; 4 active ingredients with 10 trade names of disinfectant warehouse.

4 active ingredients used for golf include: 2 active ingredients with 2 brand names of pesticides; 1 active ingredient with 1 brand name of herbicide; 1 active ingredient with 1 brand name of growth regulating drug.

22 active ingredients for seed treatment including 10 active ingredients with 15 pesticide trade names and 12 active ingredients with 13 pesticide trade names.

The Ministry also proposed an active ingredient for preserving agricultural products after harvest, Chlorpropham (min 98%) with a trade name of Oorja 50HN.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development also proposed a list of plant protection drugs banned from use in Vietnam, including: 23 active ingredients of pesticides and forest preservatives; 6 active ingredients for the treatment of diseases; 1 active ingredient in rat poison and 1 active ingredient in herbicide.
