The Khmer Times quoted Veng Sakhon as saying that in April 2020, Cambodia exported 5,500 tons of cassava starch and 4,500 tons of fresh cassava roots to Thailand and Vietnam; 800 tons of cashew nuts mainly to Vietnam; 1,982 tons of bananas to China, Vietnam and Japan; 150 tons of mangoes to Thailand, Vietnam, France, Russia, Korea and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (China).

Calculated in the first 4 months of 2020, Cambodia exported 9,301 tons of cassava flour; 33,298 tons of corn; 2,252 tons of pepper; 44 tons of vegetables; 420 tons of tobacco fibers; 186,205 tons of cashews; 42,035 tons of mangoes and some other agricultural products.

Cambodia produced a total of 31 million tons of food in 2019, generating income equivalent to $ 10 billion. Of the total Cambodian food exports, rice occupies the top export position. In 2019, Cambodia exported 620,264 tons of rice, valued at about US $ 500 million.
